Can That Be Accessible?

About

Hi! I’m William Luu

Ever since starting my job at a certain government agency, I’ve thought a lot more about accessibility.

And as you’ll find out, I like getting things on paper—whether metaphorically or not.

I like to get things on paper (both literally and metaphorically). That’s why I, on my own volition, enrolled in the University of Sunshine Coast Inclusive Digital Design for Business course. I have yet to pass the course, so wish me luck.

Here’s a photo of me at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra. No, I don’t live there.

I identify as an Autistic person. I don’t have very high support needs. My Autism manifests in general social awkwardness, an inability to maintain eye contact, and being really sensitive to squeaking noises.

On the other hand, Autism means I can get intensely focused on the most random of topics. Here are the phases I’ve been through recently:

I guess you can lump digital accessibility in with that, however, my day-time job relates a bit to accessibility—unlike literally everything listed above.
